How We Collect Information from you


We obtain information about you when you use our website, for example when you contact us about products, when you email us, telephone us or visit us. 

Our website uses Google Analytics to help analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including IP address) is transmitted to Google.

  • Process orders you have submitted including but not limited to sending an order and billing/invoices

We are legally required to hold some types of information to fulfil obligations as part of running a limited company, for example retention of accounts for 6 years. All personal data is destroyed after 6 years following last contact. This retention period allows us to serve you as a customer better, protects your personal information and fulfils our legal responsibilities.

Who has Access to your Information
Your Private Information will never be sold, rented or loaned to any third party or shared for any marketing purposes and is used by Anglo Plastics Ltd strictly for our own marketing & business purposes only. 

Third party Service Providers working on our behalf: We may pass your information to a third party service provider or agents for the purposes of fulfilling an order or processing a payment, for example your details may be passed to a transport company for delivery of your order or to a service engineer. Where we use third party providers, we will only disclose personal information which is necessary to deliver the service. 

Personal information stored on our site by our customers will only be available to primary customer service representatives, system administrators, and accounting personnel.
This website uses Google Analytics to help us analyse how users use the site. This information is then used to evaluate visitors' use of the website so that we can make improvements where necessary. 

We will never (and will not allow any third party to) use the statistical analytics tool to track or to collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of visitors to our site. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. Neither we nor Google will link, or seek to link, an IP address with the identity of a computer user. We will not associate any data gathered from this site with any Personally Identifiable Information from any source, unless you explicitly submit that information via a fill-in form on our website or via email.

We may transfer your personal information to a third party as part of a sale of some or all of our business and assets to any third party or as part of any business restructuring or reorganisation, or if we’re under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation or to enforce or apply our terms of use or to protect the rights, property or safety of us, our employees and our customers. However, we will take steps with the aim of ensuring that your privacy rights continue to be protected.

Email marketing messages & subscription

Under the GDPR we use the consent lawful basis for anyone subscribing to our newsletter or marketing mailing list. We only collect certain data about you, as detailed in the "Processing of your personal data" above. Most email marketing messages we send are done so through an EMS, email marketing service provider or through Microsoft Outlook. An EMS is a third party service provider of software / applications that allows marketers to send out email marketing campaigns to a list of users.

Email marketing messages that we send may contain tracking beacons / tracked clickable links or similar server technologies in order to track subscriber activity within email marketing messages. Where used, such marketing messages may record a range of data such as; times, dates, I.P addresses, opens, clicks, forwards, geographic and demographic data. Such data, within its limitations will show the activity each subscriber made for that email campaign.

Any email marketing messages we send are in accordance with the GDPR and the PECR. We provide you with an easy method to withdraw your consent (unsubscribe) or manage your preferences / the information we hold about you at any time. See any marketing messages for instructions on how to unsubscribe or manage your preferences, you can also unsubscribe from all MailChimp lists, by following this link, otherwise please contact us directly by replying to the email.

You have a choice about whether you wish to receive information from us. 
At this time we do not send any direct marketing by post, however we do send marketing emails via Mailchimp and Outlook on a regular basis as stated above.   If you have opted in to receive email marketing from us you can notify us at any time that you no longer wish to receive these.

Your rights in respect of your personal information

Under certain circumstances, by law, you have the right to:-

  • Request access to your personal information as stated above;

  • Request correction of any personal information that we hold about you.  We have an obligation to ensure that the information we hold about you is complete and accurate;

  • Right to deletion – you have a right to ask us to delete or remove personal information where there is no good reason for us to continue to hold/process it;

  • Object to processing  – you can object to the processing of your personal information (where we are relying on a legitimate interest or those of a third party) and remove your right to consent in certain circumstances;

  • Request for transfer – you may request for your data to be transferred to another party and/or put in place a restriction on the processing of such data;

  • Withdrawal to consent – where you have provided your consent to the collection, processing and transfer of your personal information for a specific purpose you have the right to withdraw your consent for that specific processing.  To withdraw your consent please email  info@angloplastics.com  and put in the subject line “withdrawal of consent” and state in the body of the email the nature of the processing to which you wish your consent to be withdrawn.



How you can Access, Update and Apply for the removal your information
The accuracy of your information is important to us. If the data you have provided to us is inaccurate or has changed, please email us at

You have the right to request a copy of the information Anglo Plastics Ltd holds about you. This request will be processed in line with GDPR and you can request this by emailing us at

Under article 17 of the GDPR, individuals have the right to have personal data erased, also known as ‘right to be forgotten’ in certain circumstances. You can request this in an email to us. Please note that we may not be able to delete all personal data especially if we have a legal obligation to keep the data for a period of time, for example for accounting. We will provide you with details of what we can and cannot remove, and the timescales without undue delay and within 1 month of receipt of your request.

When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s protected and secure. We ensure the security of any personal information we hold by using secure data storage technologies and precise procedures in how we store, access and manage that information. Our methods meet the GDPR compliance requirement.


Non-sensitive details (your email address etc.) are transmitted normally over the Internet, and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we have robust, documented and regularly reviewed processes and policies in place to protect it’s security on our systems. 

We do not store any sensitive personal information (for example card details).
